3D Printing Module Outcomes

Clàr’s 3D Printing module wrapped up in December with the creation of metal sculptures made from pewter. Throughout the term participants learned 3D software such as Fusion 360, Tinkercad and Blender to develop designs which were 3D printed at An Lanntair. We also experimented with head scanning and animating our digital assets on the computer.

Once the final designs had been printed we build 2-part, high temperature silicone moulds and spent a fun evening pouring molten pewter.
