Strange / Matter

Strange / Matter is a showcase for exciting new work created by local young artists and musicians working with digital media, as part of An Lanntair’s digital creativity programme Clàr.

This multimedia show will host two extra special debut musical performances Finloi and Matthew Macleod. Expect reverb heavy dreampop and melodic, polyrhythmic techno featuring alongside green screen video, 3D animation, analog special effects and projection mapping. Headlining the evening, Mother Night brings their unique blend of pagan pop and indie electronica to the auditorium.

Clàr is a series of free weekly workshops open to 14 - 25 year olds, with a focus on digital technologies in the arts. We encourage experimentation and an interdisciplinary approach to creating work while providing opportunities to learn first hand skills from our experienced in house tech team. Strange / Matter has been produced in collaboration with and features the work of pupils undertaking their Creative & Digital Media Foundation Apprenticeship.
